Qingdao University of Technology delegation visited MGSU

On September 7, 2023, the Qingdao University of Technology delegation (People's Republic of China) paid a visit to MGSU. During the business meeting, parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between MGSU and QUT, future development of joint educational programs and issues of academic mobility. Photo

Qingdao University of Technology was represented by the President Prof. Tan Xiusen, Director of Office of International Affairs Prof. Zhou Hongyan, Director of Office of Financial Affairs Prof. Sun Haitao and Chairman of the Board of the Center for Russian-Chinese Humanitarian Cooperation and Development Mr. Yin Bin.

MGSU was represented by the Rector Prof. Pavel Akimov, Director of the Project Office of the Priority 2030 - Program Natalia Zhelanova, Director of the Project Office of the Priority 2030 Program Natalia Zhelanova, Director of the Directorate of Scientific and Technical Projects Prof. Oleg Kabantsev, Director of the Center for International Education Elena Pakhomenko, Director of the Center for International Educational Integration Olga Guseva, and Head of the International Cooperation Department Olga Makarova.

At the meeting, Chinese colleagues presented an introductory video presentation about the Qingdao University of Technology. In turn, MGSU also demonstrated a presentation about MGSU and its scientific-research complex, which was commented on by the Rector Prof. Pavel Akimov and Prof. Oleg Kabantsev. The parties discussed the prospects for further cooperation, the implementation of joint activities and the development of academic ties.

Following the traditional exchange of gifts, a tour around MGSU, including the the Educational Research Laboratory of Aerodynamic and Aeroacoustic Tests of Building Construction, was held for colleagues from China.

QUT cooperates with nearly 100 universities and research institutes overseas. MGSU is looking forward to fruitful partnership with Qingdao University of Technology.
