Memorandum of Understanding signed between MGSU and Balikesir University, Republic of Türkiye

On August 23, 2023, MGSU and Balikesir University, BAUN, Republic of Türkiye, signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The Memorandum was signed by Rector Prof. Pavel A. Akimov on behalf of MGSU, and by Rector Prof. Dr. Yücel Oğurlu on behalf of Balikesir University.

The parties agreed to promote mutually beneficial cooperation aimed at developing and updating scientific and innovative educational programs, providing high-quality training, retraining, advanced training of specialists, conducting joint scientific events, etc.

The history of Balikesir University dates back to 1910, when the Karesi Teaching Training School was founded. Today, the University's faculties include the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, etc.
